Introducing
our programme ''Introduction to Study Abroad''
for international studies.
- This two-week course
introduces high school students to university
life and study in the uk.
- On your course you will study IT, British
culture, career paths, interpersonal communication,
and you will learn essential study and research
skills.
- At the end of the course you will have a
good understanding of what study in the UK
involves and this will help you and your family
to make wise choices in the future.
We will attend classes for 18 hours per week.
At other times you will be learning Resources
Centre.

fees
4th to
15th August 2008. Materials, accommodation,
social programme inclusive in package.
Entry requirements
You should be a student
aged 16-19 Years.
Group Leader
The students joining this
course from your country will travel to the
UK and to the TVU Reading campus with a Leader.
Study Facilities
You will be making use
of our well stocked Learning Resources Centre
for your private study and reseach.
Accommodation
We will arrange accommodation
for you with a home stay family. All of our
home stay families are well known to us and
their homes offer you clean and comfortable
accommodation.
Free Meet and
Greet
You will be met at London
Heathrow airport and transported to your accommodation
in reading. At the end of your stay, transport
will be provided
Introducing you
to the town of Reading
Reading centre is a ten-minute
walk from the TVU campus and offers you:
- Excellent shops in traffic-free streets
and shopping malls
- A well-stocked public library
- Good rail and bus links to other townsand
cites in the UK
- A 25-minute trail journey to Central London
- A one-hour coach journey to / from London
Heathrow airport
- An attractive town centre with parks, riverside
cafes and lots of Students
Social Programme
On Wednesday afternoons
and on the first Saturday you will go on outings
with your teachers to visit famous places such
as Windsor, Oxford and London
